RIL, RNRL sign revised gas pact

Reliance Industries and Reliance Natural Resource (RNRL) have signed a revised gas supply master arrangement (GSMA). It is learnt that RNRL will approach the government for the expeditious gas allocation.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange, RNRL said that pursuant to the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated May 07, 2010, RIL and RNRL have on June 25, 2010 signed a revised GSMA.
The government will decide on the price, quantity and tenure of the gas supply. However, sources say that the pact entails 28 mmscmd/day for 17 years at USD 4.20/mmBtu. It is also learnt that pact entails gas for 8400 MW for power.
