AksharChem (India) (AKSCHEM) is engaged in the manufacture of dyes and intermediates. It was incorporated as a private limited company on Jul. 04, 1989 and converted into a public company on Feb. 15, 1994. Earlier known as Audichem (India), it got its present name on Mar. 24, 2004.
The ISO 14001:2004 certified company manufactures vinyl sulphone ester and other intermediates at its plant located in the Mehsana district of Gujarat with an installed capacity of 3,000 MTPA dye intermediates. It has been awarded the prestigious international gold star award for excellence in corporate image and quality by the business initiative directions of Spain.
The company has received many export awards from the Government of India, Government of Gujarat, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Gujarat Dye-stuff Manufacturers Association, Federation of Indian Export Organization, Chemexcil, and other organizations. With its export house status, it has established an international presence and exports to Hoechst A.G. of Germany, USA, England, Thailand and Argentina.
