Based in Kadi, Gujarat, Cera Sanitaryware (CERASAN) was established in 1980 and is a pioneer in the sanitaryware segment in India. The company has also launched innovative designs and water-saving products. The twin-flush model launched in India reduces the water needs of households considerably. To achieve growth in the rapidly changing retail market in the country, Cera Sanitaryware has launched its Cera Bath Studios in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Cochin and Hyderabad. With the opening of the Cera Bath Studios, consumers can have full view of the Cera`s premium ranges of wash basins, shower panels, shower cubicles, bath tubs, shower temples, whirlpools, CP fittings etc. Cera Bath Studios will complement its existing network of 400 distributors and 4,000 retailers. Bathrooms are displayed live, so that the customers can get a feel of Cera`s vast range of products. Cera Sanitaryware will also launch premium Spanish Tiles in Indian market.

Cera Sanitaryware registered a growth of 20.97% in net profits of Rs 21.52 million for the quarter ended in September 2007 from a profit of Rs 17.79 million for the quarter ended in September 2006.
Net Sales rose 19.68% to Rs 294.74 million for the quarter ended September 2007 from Rs 246.27 million for the quarter ended September 2006.
Total income 21.53% to Rs 300.61 million for the quarter ended September 2007 from Rs 247.36 million for the quarter ended September 2006.
The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs 3.52 in the quarter ended September 2007.

Cera Sanitaryware has received application from the promoters for allotment of 110,000 equity shares against 600,000 warrants issued to the promoters group. The Company propose to allot 110,000 equity shares to the promoters in view of the above.

Cera launches the Italian designer sanitaryware, Pozzi-Ginori. The sanitaryware are specifically targeted at `neo-rich` class of individuals and luxurious hotels. The company enters into a long-term strategic partnership with Pozzi-Ginori, a leader in European designer sanitaryware based in Spilimbergo in Italy for exclusively marketing their high-end products in India.
Future Plans
Cera Sanitaryware plans to launch Sanitec group`s wellness product range including shower boxes and whirlpools.
