Gogia International Securities Limited (GISL), formerly known as Gogia Capital Services Limited, was incorporated as a private limited company on Jun. 16, 1994. It was subsequently converted into public limited company on May 25, 1995. The main objectives of the company include providing stock broking services, poviding stock market related consultancy, fund management, corporate advisory services and render other corporate management and consultancy services.

The company had entered into MOU with D Berges GmbH, part of DSI Dr. Stange International Group, a leading consultancy organization in Germany specialising in merger and acquisitions for mergers and acquisition of units in India by European and US companies.

GISL is a member of National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) since 1995 and trading and clearing member in the future & options segment of NSE. The company is also a depository participant of National Securities Depository Limited since 1997.

Financials
The company reported a decline in total income at Rs 10.03 million for the quarter ended Dec. 2006 as against Rs 24.82 million during the corresponding quarter in the previous year. Net profit for this period had decreased to Rs 1.92 million from Rs 2.01 million during the corresponding period.

GISL reported growth in total income at Rs 56.94 million for the year ended Mar. 2006, from Rs 32.44 million for year ended Mar. 2005. Net profit for this period also increased to Rs 5.88 million as against Rs 3.27 million during the corresponding period. The EPS for FY06 stood at Rs 1.2.
