The company?s main offerings are in the areas of revenue maximization (RevMax), revenue assurance (INcharge), fraud management (Ranger) and subscriber risk management (ONtrack). RevMax, the revenue maximization suite, comprising of Ranger, INcharge and ONtrack, is a comprehensive solution for revenue management. The Ranger fraud management system has the largest installed base worldwide for fraud management systems and makes use of technologies such as artificial intelligence and rule-based alarm management. The intensely competitive environment and the pressures to increase ARPU (average revenue per user) and AMPU (average margin per user) have telecom operators around the world turning to revenue maximization.
As part of its inorganic growth strategies, the company acquired IV Generation; a New Jersey based firm specializing in telecommunications software and acquired fraud management division of Mantas Inc. The company aims to be an end to end solutions provider in order to help clients establish revenue operations centre (ROC), which is a centralized and integrated operational infrastructure to monitor, control and assure the integrity of the revenue chain.
Financials
The company swung to profit for the quarter ended March 2009. During the quarter, the company reported profit of Rs 143.37 million compared with a loss of Rs 248.91 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales for the quarter rose 6.81 times to Rs 1,747.95 million, while total income for the quarter jumped 8.79 times to Rs 1,928.82 million, when compared with the prior year period. It posted profit of Rs 4.11 a share during the quarter compared with a loss of Rs 7.13 a share in previous year period.
