United Credit (UNITDCR), incorporated in 1972, is a non-banking finance company. Earlier known as United India Credit and Development Company, it got its present name on Jan. 01, 1981.

The company focuses on providing loans and investments. It has formed three subsidiaries, namely United Credit & Development Company, United Nanotech Products, and United Nanotechnologies to operate in different areas including financing and nanotechnology-based products. A memorandum of understanding was signed in FY07 with Belani Housing Development for submitting a joint bid in response to a tender invited by KMDA for the purpose of development of land owned by KMDA situated along the EM Bypass and Rash Behari Connector to EM Bypasss for constructing a commercial-cum-residential complex.

The registered office is located at 27B Camac Street, 8th Floor, Kolkata-700016, West Bengal.

Financials
United Credit registered a 489.63% growth in net profit to Rs 17.63 million for the quarter ended December 2007 from a profit of Rs 2.99 million for the quarter ended December 2006.
Net sales rose 16.81% to Rs 2.78 million for the quarter ended December 2007 from Rs 2.38 million for the quarter ended December 2006.
Total income rose 308.64% to Rs 24.6 million for the quarter ended December 2007 from Rs 6.02 million for the quarter ended December 2006.
