Faze Three, established in 1985, is an India-based manufacturer and exporter of home interior products. The company`s product offerings include home fashions such as blankets and throws, curtains, accent and area rugs, kitchen textiles, doormats and a complete assortment of bath mats complemented by shower curtains.
Faze Three products are exported to regions such as US, Australia, Canada and UK, with US representing more than half of the company`s business. The company has manufacturing facilities at multiple locations across India. It has a handloom plant at Panipat, weaving plant at Dapada, bathmat plant at Dadra and a dye-house unit at Valsad.
Faze three supplies its products to domestic as well as international retailers. Some of the company`s clients are Walmart, Marks and Spencer, Loblaws, Next and Target. The company recently acquired Whitley Willows` Bathmat plant in UK and thus was able to capture close to around 70% rubber-backed bath mats market share in the UK.
Financials
The company reported a 2.3 times growth in net profit at Rs 23.52 million for the quarter ended Sept. 2006 as against Rs 10.12 million during the quarter ended Sept. 2005. Sales for this period also increased by 37% to Rs 321.07 million as against Rs 234 million in the corresponding quarter.
Faze Three registered 23% growth in net profit at Rs 47.02 million for the year ended March 2006 as against Rs 38.34 million for the year ended March 2005. Sales for this period also increased by 24% to Rs 743.25 million as against Rs 600.21 million. The EPS for year ended March 2006 stood at Rs 0.77.
