Jainex Aamcol (JAINEX), incorporated in 1947, is engaged in the business of manufacturing, marketing and export of gear hobs and cutters. Earlier known as Aamcol Tools, it got its present name on Feb. 02, 2005. Jainex Foods, Jainex, Jainex Imports & Exports, and Dugar Brothers & Company are associate companies.
The product range includes gear cutting and special cutting tools. In FY07, it took up a project to manufacture spline gauges and shaving cutters to complement the current product range. The company caters to the requirements of both domestic and international clients. Located at Aurangabad in Maharashtra, the manufacturing unit uses high speed steel rounds and bars as raw materials.
Increased demand from international clients is anticipated, and the company is upgrading and augmenting its production capacity. In FY07, it installed state-of-the-art inspection equipment and placed orders for CNC and other machines. A trial order has been received from Germany.

Jainex Aamcol registered a steep drop of 97.3% in net profit of Rs 0.1 million for the quarter ended June 2008 from a profit of Rs 3.7 million for the quarter ended June 2007.
Net sales declined 27.03% to Rs 16.2 million for the quarter ended June 2008 from Rs 22.2 million for the quarter ended June 2007.
