Pudumjee Agro Industries (PUDAGRIN) produces a wide range of papers such as crepe tissue, hygiene tissue, MG tissue, carbon tissue, wrappers for fruits, flowers and food, poster and kraft. Its plant is located at Thergaon in Pune, Maharashtra. The company acquired the solvent extraction business of Kapil Agro in Madhya Pradesh but has discontinued the business.

The company started operations by importing second hand paper machinery. It expanded its capacity by installing new equipment and also phased out one of the old machineries (bringing down its production capacity). It has been showing a consistent increase in profitability despite a decline in turnover for the latest year.

The company`s registered office is at Thergaon in Maharashtra. S. M. Jatia is the company`s chairman and managing director.

Financials
Pudumjee Agro Industries posted a net profit of Rs 15 million for the year ended Mar. 31, 2007 on sales of Rs 788.4 million. Total income for the year stood at Rs 807.5 million. During the year, the company posted an EPS of Rs 4.17.
