Ajanta Soya (AJANTSOY) was incorporated in 13 January 1992. The main constituents of the group are Guru Protein and G D Ferro Alloys.
AJANTSOY is engaged in the business of manufacturing vanaspati and refined oil with production capacity, which was initially 62.5 tpd, has increased to 180 tpd with periodical expansion. It is also present in the business of solvent extraction, alloy steel castings and real estate development.
The company sells its products under the brand name, `Dhruv` and `Anchal`. It is a recognized export house. The production capacity of the company is 54,000 mtpa for vanaspati and refined oil. It supplies loose vanaspati in tankers to the biscuit manufacturers like Parle, Britannia, ITC Foods, Surya Food, etc.
Ajanta Soya has about 350 dealers and they are operative in Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana and U.P. Its depots are located at Jaipur and Meerut.
Kasturi Finlease & Investment was amalgamated with the company during the year 2004. In 2005, the company acquired 50% stake in Phoenix Steel Mills, a Nigerian company setting up a steel plant. In the same year, the company made strategic investments in Mera Baba Reality Associates, for real estate development and also it suspended its operations in rice business segment. The registered office of the company is situated at Rajasthan, India.

Ajanta Soya registered a 91.26% growth in net profits to Rs 1.97 million for the quarter ended in September 2007 from a profit of Rs 1.03 million for the quarter ended in September 2006.
Net Sales rose 20.42% to Rs 756.75 million for the quarter ended September 2007 from Rs 628.45 million for the quarter ended September 2006.
Total income rose 20.68% to Rs 758.96 million for the quarter ended September 2007, from Rs 628.92 million for the quarter ended September 2006.
The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs 0.17 in the quarter ended September 2007.
