Anka India (ANKIN) was incorporated in 1996. The company is promoted and managed by Gurpeet Singh Sethi and Arshdeep Singh Sethi.
The main business of Anka India is thermoplastic ruber and polyurethene shoe sole with latest state-of-the-art machinery from Gusbi, Italy for PU Soles and Main Group, Italy for TPR Soles. Anka India only uses imported moulds from Italy & Germany for manufacturing soles, midsoles and DIP footwear. ANKIN`s soles are used by leading Brands like Bata, Holyfield, La-belle, Lee-cooper, Lotus Bawa, Nike, Welcome & Woodland. The company also supplies full footwear to Reebok. Anka India has manufacturing capacity of 2.0 million PU soles and 1.5 million TPR Soles per annum. The company`s plants are located in Gurgaon in Harayana.

Anka India to loss for the quarter ended September 2008 has narrowed. During the quarter, the loss of the company declined to Rs 2.01 million compared with a loss of Rs 3.07 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales declined marginally 22.40% to Rs 7 million, while total income for the quarter fell 22.66% to Rs 6.86 million, when compared with the prior year period.
