It was promoted by Uttam Chand, Sethia and Bachhraj Sethia. BALTE has 180 branches and service centres spread over 23 states of the Country. In 2000, the Company entered into agreement with CDSL and MCS, Calcutta (R&T Agents) for dematerialisation of shares. Balurghat Technologies's equity shares got delisted from Jaipur, Madras and Kolkata Stock Exchanges. The company has its registered office located at Kolkata, India.
