C F L Capital (CFLCAP) was incorporated on Sep. 23, 1983. The company was formerly known as Samudra Leasing. The company was promoted by Philips Carbon Black. It deals with hire purchase, finance and lease finance for plant and machinery, office equipment and vehicles to industrial undertakings, contractors etc. It also undertook financing purchase of consumer durables, motor vehicles and two wheelers.

C F L Capital entered into a `name license` agreement with Ceat, having diverse interests in the fields of automotive tyres and tubes, glass fibre, consumer electronics and nylon tyre cord.

The company is presently engaged in the business of providing hire purchase finance and lease finance for plant and machinery office equipment and vehicles to industrial undertakings.

CFLCAP also undertakes the business of providing consumer credit to finance the purchase of consumer durables. The company also undertakes trading in securities and bills discounting. CFLCAP is based in Mumbai, India.

C F L Capital Financial Services reported that loss for the quarter ended in September 2007 has narrowed.
Net Sales declined 36.59% to Rs 2.6 million for the quarter ended September 2007 from Rs 4.1 million for the quarter ended September 2006.

Total income dipped 92.70% to Rs 2.6 million for the quarter ended September 2007 from Rs 35.6 million for the quarter ended September 2006.

The loss per share (LPS) of the company stood at Rs 0.25 in the quarter ended September 2007.
