GG Dandekar Machine Works (GGDANDE) is engaged in the manufacture and sale of rice mill machinery and setting up of complete rice mills. Promoted by Kirloskar Oil Engines, it was incorporated in 1938.
The company specializes in food processing machinery and equipment and rice machinery. It manufactures rice mills, dal mills, and paddy parboiling plants. The manufacturing facilities in the Thane district of Maharashtra has an annual installed capacity of producing 240 rice mill machineries, 800 loose machineries and spares, and 1,900 MT of CI castings.
The research and development department of the company has developed a stainless steel separator and vibro cleaner in total stainless steel having capacity of 3.5 upto 6 tons per hour. The trible decker vibro cleaner, designed and manufactured by the company, has higher cleaning capacity than other machines and is suitable for 3 TPH capacity. The company exports its products to Africa, South America, Australia, Fiji, Thailand, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. In 2007, the company sold unused its vacant land admeasuring 30,293 sq. m. for a total consideration of INR 162.9 million to Pusti Enterprises.
