Gandhi Special Tubes (GANDHISP) was incorporated on Apr. 22, 1985 as Gandhi Special 07 Tubes and it got its present name on Dec. 5, 1995. It is a manufacturer of automobile components.
The ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 certified company manufactures small diameter welded steel tubes, cold drawn seamless steel tubes, tubular components, and cold formed nuts in technical collaboration with Benteler of Germany. These find application in the refrigeration, automobile high-pressure fuel injection tubing and hydraulic tubing industries.
The manufacturing units are located near Pune in Maharashtra and the Panchmahal district of Gujarat with installed capacities of 2,400 MTPA seamless tubes and 2,400 MTPA welded steel tubes. GANDHISP has a 4 MW windmill project in Gujarat. Products are marketed across the country to clients such as Tata Engineering & Locomotive Co., Tata Iron & Steel Co., Ashok Leyland, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Steel Authority of India, Godrej Appliances, Kirloskar Copeland, Injecto and several others.
The registered office is located in Mumbai, India.

Gandhi Special Tubes registered a 62.34% growth in net profits to Rs 67.84 million for the quarter ended in June 2008 from a profit of Rs 41.79 million for the quarter ended in June 2007.
Net Sales rose 27.08% to Rs 232.36 million for the quarter ended June 2008 from Rs 182.85 million for the quarter ended June 2007.
Total income rose 24.85% to Rs 234.01 million for the quarter ended June 2008 from Rs 187.44 million for the quarter ended June 2007.
The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs 4.62 in the quarter ended June 2008.
Future Plans
The Company is exploring the possibility of exporting its products to the Middle East and Far East Countries.
