Invicta Meditek (INVICTA), incorporated on Jun. 25, 1992, is engaged in the manufacture of quality orthopaedic implants and instruments. Earlier known as Innovation Medi Equip, it got its present name on Jul. 10, 2007.
The ISO 13485-2003 & CE certified company supplies quality products such as total joint replacement systems for knee, hip, shoulder and ankle; trauma implants like plates, screws, nails and other products; and associated instruments. The product range also includes implants for hemi-arthroplasty, all types of dynamic compression and round hole plates, screws with cortical, cancellous profiles, special thread sizes and in all diameters and DHS/ DCS systems.
The joint replacement systems are manufactured under license from Endotech of USA. Manufacturing facilities are located at Chennai in Tamil Nadu with installed capacities of 2,500 hip cups, 5,000 hip installation components, 2,500 hip stems, 12,000 internal fixation implants, 500 knee installation components, 500 pneumatic systems, and 50,000 ring fixation systems. In April 2008, the company introduced India`s first indigenously manufactured total knee replacement system with an US FDA approved design. It serves customers in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and West Indies.
