La Opala RG (LAOPAGLA) is a manufacturer of opal and crystal glass products. It was incorporated as a private limited company on June 11, 1987 and was subsequently converted into a public limited company with the present name in the same year.
The ISO 9001:2000 certified company manufactures opal glass products in the floral, banded, celebration, melody, temptation, and trendz varieties; and crystal ware like barware, vases, bowls, ashtrays and beer mugs. It has its plant located in the Deoghar district of Jharkhand with an installed capacity of 4,080 MTPA of glass and glassware. In September 2007, the new plant in Sitargunj, Uttarakhand started commercial production.
The company has won awards like the Udyog Ratna Award from the Government of Jharkhand and the Capexil Award for excellent export performance for eight years. It exports its products to more than 30 countries including USA, UK, Spain, France, Italy and the Middle East countries.
The registered office of the company is located at Chitrakoot (10th Floor), 230 A, Acharya J.C. Bose Road, Kolkata-700020.
