It is an information technology company which is engaged in the business of software development services and solutions. Due to severe competition in the software business, OMNIAX has incurred loss for the past years. Therefore, the company has decided to change line of business from software to infrastructure development, particularly in the activities of building construction.

OMNIAX has three subsidiary companies namely Millennium Web Solutions, Elan Integrated Systems and R 3 Ventures. These subsidiary companies are also engaged in the business of software development activities. The registered office of Astro Bio Systems is located at Chennai.

Financials
Astro Bio Systems reported that it has swung to a profit of Rs 0.81 million for the quarter ended in December 2007.

Net Sales increased 3.35 times to Rs 3.35 million for the quarter ended December 2007 from Rs 1.00 million for the quarter ended December 2006.

Total income rose 2.54 times to Rs 4.6 million for the quarter ended December 2007 from Rs 1.81 million for the quarter ended December 2006.

Omni AX`s Software Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 20, 2007 has approved the scheme of amalgamation of Elan Integrated Systems Pvt. Ltd., Millennium E Soft Solutions Pvt. Ltd. & R3 Ventures Pvt. Ltd. (collectively known as transferor companies) with the Company.
