Rajdarshan Industries (RAJIND) is engaged in the business of excavation and transportation of limestone on contracts basis. It was incorporated on Dec. 26, 1980 as a private limited company and converted into a public limited company on Jan. 27, 1993. Earlier known as A. R. Enterprises, it got its present name on Mar. 29, 1997.

Excavation and transportation works of limestone are undertaken on long term job contract basis for cement manufacturers like J.K. Cement Works in Rajasthan and Manikgarh Cement Works in Maharashtra.

The registered office is at 59, Moti Magri Scheme, Udaipur-313004, Rajasthan.

Financials
Rajdarshan Industries reported a steep drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 71.81% to Rs 0.42 million from Rs 1.49 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter declined 42.16% to Rs 3.57 million, while total income for the quarter dipped 43.06% to Rs 3.57 million, when compared with the prior year period.
