Formerly known as Sudarshan Aluminium Industries, Sudal Industries (SUDINDUS) was incorporated on August 8, 1979 in Maharashtra. It was promoted by S. C. Chokani in association agreement with Hindustan Aluminium Corporation for providing technical assistance. SUDINDUS manufactures aluminum extrusions and alloys. In 1990-1991, the company started manufacturing irrigation and sprinkler systems. It also manufactured drip irrigation systems, heat exchanger tubing, truck body kits, ..etc. The manufacturing unit is located at MIDC Ambad Industrial Area, Bombay Nasik Highway, Nasik, Maharashtra. SUDINDUS supplies products to railways, road transport authorities and giants/multinationals like BHEL, TELCO, Larson & Toubro, Philips, Siemens, Mahindra & Mahindra, Godrej, Bajaj Auto, Crompton Greaves, Asea Brown Boveri Kirloskar Electrodyne, ..etc. The company exports its products to countries like USA, UK and Germany. SUDINDUS has produced several import substitution items.

Sudal Industries registered a 27.67% growth in net profits to Rs 4.66 million for the quarter ended in June, 2007 from a profit of Rs 3.65 million for the quarter ended in June, 2006Net Sales for the quarter rose 21.95% to Rs 182.54 million for the quarter ended June, 2007 from Rs 149.69 million for the quarter ended June, 2006.The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs 1.05 in the quarter ended June, 2007 .
Future Plans
The company has plans to go into various activities and add one more extrusion press with a view to meet the growing needs of the market for products.
