Incorporated in 1963, Klockner Windsor ,was renamed in June`94 as DGP Windsor India Ltd, in line with its British parent`s change in name. The Dilip Piramal Group has acquired a 40% stake in the company. The company makes the entire range of plastic processing machines, viz., injection moulding, extrusion machinery and blow moulding machines which are used in the telecommunications, automobile, plastics, electronics and consumer durables industries. The company has tie-ups with Kuhne GmbH of Germany, Wavin-Rollepaal and Hagihara Industries of Japan for specialised extrusion processing.

The company has reorganized its operations to achieve better integrated manufacturing and supply chain management system, improvement in business development and customer interface activities as well as better management of product development programmes.
Future Plans
The company has embarked on a programme of upgrading the range of product to keep up with the latest technological trends and improving the focus on specified market segments. The company has launched new products in Injection and Extrusion machinery, which are expected to contribute significantly to the business. Overhead expenditure reduction will continue to receive attention. New arrangements with Financial Institutions and Banks should result in better cash flow management. Efforts are also being made to reduce material costs through design changes and exploration of economical procurement sources. With all these, the company is expected to achieve a complete a turn around in the future.
