Ambuja Cements was the top gainer on the Nifty. It touched an intraday high of Rs 119.35 and an intraday low of Rs 114.80. The share was quoting at Rs 118.65, up Rs 3.90, or 3.40%.

It was trading with volumes of 420,821 shares. Yesterday the share closed up 0.31% or Rs 0.35 at Rs 114.75.
