KOLKATA: The Calcutta Stock Exchange index ended over 50 points down in volatile trading through the week.

The CSE-40 index slipped 53.23 points during the week. The local bourse was up by 109 points in the previous week.

The index opened at 7,361.63 and slipped to an intra-week low of 7276.32 before closing at 7308.40.

ACC was trading higher at Rs 840.10. Blueprint Securities inched higher to close at Rs 306.70.

ONGC was lower at Rs 1,225.60 and OMDC was at Rs 19,500 at close. Reliance Industries was down to Rs 1017.95.

SBI was higher at Rs 2504.05 at close. Tata Steel closed the session at Rs 540 and SAIL was at Rs 205 at close.Vindus Holdings was at Rs 293.10.
