Lakshmi Vilas Bank touched an intraday high of Rs 76.10 and an intraday low of Rs 72. At 11:12 am, the share was quoting at Rs 750, up Rs 4.75, or 6.76%.

The bank has board meet on May 14 to consider rights issue, reports CNBC-TV18.

It was trading with volumes of 18,227 shares, compared to its five-day average of 7,224 shares, an increase of 152.31%.

Yesterday the share closed down 1.20% or Rs 0.85 at Rs 70.25.
