This week, the Instanex FII Index was down 2.33% at 329.96 and the Instanex DII 15 portfolio was down 1.53%. Sensex was down 1.46% and Nifty was down 1.10%. The other Instanex Owner Indexes were also down – the Instanex Top 15 portfolio was down 2.30%, the Instanex Promoter 15 portfolio was down 2.23% and the Instanex Retail 15 portfolio was down 1.17%. Asian markets were mixed – Taiwan Weighted was up 5.04%, SET Composite was up 1.74% and Nikkei 225 was down 3.29%.

Of the 15 components of the Instanex FII Index, 12 were down and three were up. The main losers were Bharti Airtel (+6.68%; weight 10.87%), BHEL (+5.20%; weight 5.56%) and Reliance (+4.36%; weight 15.53%) and the main gainers were HUL (+4.58%; weight 2.83%) and Infosys (+0.56%; weight 13.34%).
