Anil Special Steel Industries (ANILSPL), a Shalimar group company, was incorporated as a public limited company in 1968 to manufacture hardened and tempered steel strips.
The company manufactures medium/high carbon and low alloys cold rolled spheriodized annealed steel for cutting tools like hack saws, power saws and band saws; automobile industry uses like clutch, horn diaphragms, seat belts, brake assemblies, chain links, circlips and washers; medical-surgical blades; hardened and tempered steel strips for the engineering industry; masonry and agricultural tools, industrial knives, stone cutting springs, ..etc; high carbon and high carbon low alloy circular saws/steel disc for wood cutting, wood working, ripping and cross cutting for plywood, stone cutting, metal cutting and paper cutting.
The company has technical expertise that is provided by Hoesch Werke Hohenlimburg Schwerle AG, Germany. The production unit and registered office are situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan. At present the company is capable of manufacturing 11,000 MT per annum of hardened and tempered (H & T) strips and 50,000 MT per annum of cold rolled steel strips and capacity to manufacture circular saws and blanks upto 360,000 pcs per annum.
The company branches are spread over various cities in India like New Delhi, Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, ..etc. It exports its products to countries like USA, Europe, South East Asia, Mediterranean countries, the Middle East, all SAARC countries, South America and North America.

Anil Special Steel Industries registered a 625.49% growth in net profit to Rs 37 million for the quarter ended March 2007 from a profit of Rs 5.1 million for the quarter ended March 2006.
Net sales rose 3.37% to Rs 282.2 million for the quarter ended March 2007 from Rs 273 million for the quarter ended March 2006.
Total income rose 19.55% to Rs 327.8 million for the quarter ended March 2007 from Rs 274.2 million for the quarter ended March 2006.
The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs 21.8 for the quarter ended March 2007.
