KJMC Global Market (India) (KJMCGLO) was incorporated in the year 1998 after a hive-off from KJMC Financial Services. It is part of the KJMC group of companies, which also includes KJMC Financial Services, KJMC Credit Marketing, KJMC Capital Market and KJMC Asset Management.
The company is a category-I merchant banker registered with the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Its services include merchant banking (public issue management), private placements of bonds, equities, term loan or debt syndication, project finance and advisory services, infrastructure advisory, corporate advisory and mergers and acquisition services.
Project and financial advisory services and funding solutions are provided to various state governments and industrial houses for their large developmental projects. The company also provides funding solutions to the state electricity boards, irrigation projects, development of townships, etc. besides having arranged finances for large projects in the private sector. KJMC Shares & Securities is a subsidiary company.

On Dec. 22, 2007, the board of directors approved the allotment of 220,500 fully convertible warrants to be converted into equal number of equity shares on preferential basis to I C Jain, HUF, a member of the promoter group at a price of Rs 16.15 per fully convertible warrant. The shareholders have already consented to the aforesaid preferential issue at their extra-ordinary general meeting held on Dec. 08, 2007.
