Nucent Finance (NUCENTFI), incorporated on Jul. 04, 1983 as a public company, has restructured activities and is now engaged in real estate development and management consultancy. Earlier known as Pressman, it got its present name with effect from Sep. 25, 2000. The company has been promoted by the Suchanti family, who have also promoted Pressman Advertising & Marketing.
After exiting from the finance and financial services business, the company has diversified into real estate development. It arranges real estate deals to improve profitability and also continues to recover non performing asset dues through pursuance of civil and criminal suits filed against defaulters from its earlier hire purchase and leasing business.
The registered office is at A-3 Gillander House, 8, Netaji Subhas Road, Kolkata-700001.

Nucent Finance registered a net profit of Rs 2.25 million for the quarter ended June 2008.
It recorded a net sales of Rs 2.74 million for the quarter ended June 2008.
Total income was Rs 2.86 million for the quarter ended June 2008.
Future Plans
Nucent Finance has decided to enter real estate development business. Entry into the sector will be either by way of acquisition of existing properties or by preparing building sites on behalf of land/property owners by developing housing estates, apartment blocks, shopping malls, offices and leasing, hiring or selling of the same.
