Arshiya International (ARSHIYA), earlier known as IID Forgings, is engaged in providing end-to-end logistics and supply chain solutions to customer across the world.

The company provides knowledge-driven solutions to global customers specifically focused on areas of innovative technology, business process outsourcing, supply chain, demand chain and financial flow management services. It enables controlling the entire supply/demand chain transparently for its customers, while creating a dynamic logistics network that can continuously adapt to changing market conditions. It has created separate 3PL and 4PL entities to provide distinct service offerings to customers. The company is to have its knowledge center in Singapore.

Subsidiaries of the company include Cyberlog Technologies International, Singapore; Arshhiya Hong Kong; BDP Genco (India), Arshiya Distripark and Arshiya Logistics Infrastructure. It has partnerships with Genco, BDP International, Intergroup, and Mustafa Sultan Enterprises. Recent awards include the Award of Appreciation from AMCHAM in 2007. Through a combination of acquisitions, joint ventures, and greenfield projects, the company is building a knowledge-driven Indian value chain encompassing global freight forwarding and logistics solutions including retail logistics, supply chain consulting, and information technology connecting over 140 countries. The company plans to offer world class logistics infrastructure solutions to customers across India and the Middle East.

Arshiya International inked a deal with the Singapore Government-owned Jurong International, to develop three Free Trade Warehousing Zones (FTWZs) -in Mumbai, Delhi & Sohar (Oman). Through this deal, Arshiya International has assigned Jurong International with master planning, architecture and engineering of FTWZs in the above cities. The work will be carried out in three stages, which will bring in the world-class facilities in industrial park development to India & Oman. Arshiya had earlier announced of investing Rs 30 billion to build three Free Trade Warehousing Zones (FTWZ) in India and Middle East, for providing integrated supply chain services to enhance EXIM trade.

Arshiya International intends to raise Rs 3.5 billion to invest in three free trade warehousing (FTW) zones and a dedicated rail logistics service. The supply chain management and logistics infrastructure company will be raising the amount as part of the total Rs 30 billion, which the company plans to invest in strengthening its presence in the logistics infrastructure sector over five years. The funds will be used to develop two FTW zones in India and one in Sohar, Oman over a period of two years. The first warehousing zone will come up near Mumbai and the second in Noida and will be developed by a 100% subsidiary named Arshiya Logistics.

On Nov. 20, 2007, the shareholders approved raising of funds up to Rs 3,500 million by issuing additional equity shares including qualified institutional placement.

Future Plans
