Chartered Logistics (CHLOGIST), incorporated on Jun. 16, 1995, provides road transportation through a well integrated multi-modal transport system. Earlier known as Chartered Carriers, it got its present name on Nov. 30, 2007. The company is part of the group formed by Gyanchand Gandhi, which manages the business through 650 vehicles, of which 350 are owned vehicles and 300 vehicles are hired. Raman Roadways and Rajasthan Transport Company are other group companies.
The company offers transportation throughout India. Its own vehicles carry goods within Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Hired vehicles carry goods out of Gujarat where they do not have contracts for return loads. Services are provides to clients such as Reliance Industries, Hindustan Unilever, Tata group, Secure Meters, Saurashtra Cement, Grasim, Binani Cement, Ratnamani Metals & Tubes, and Kalpa-Taru Power Transmission among several others. Branch offices have been set up in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
