Mold-Tek Technologies (MOLDTEK) formerly Moldtek Plastics, established in 1986, is a Hyderabad based-company engaged in businesses such as packaging, engineering and IT services. The company, under its plastic division, manufactures diverse range of plastic products such as injection and blow moulded containers and PET bottles and jars. MOLDTEK) provides packaging solutions to the paints, lubricants, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and FMCG companies. Mold-Tek has its manufacturing units located at Annaram Village, dist Medak, Andhra Pradesh(AP), Dommarapochampally village, district Ranga Reddy, AP and in Daman. Mold-Tek Technologies has an installed capacity of 8400 MT per annum.
Mold-Tek Technologies, under its IT services division, provides BPO and KPO services. The KPO services include complex engineering services like designing and detailing for its clients in USA, Canada, Gulf and Europe. The BPO services include health care coding and claims processing for its clients in USA. It also provides other routine back office functions like data management, conversion and tech support.

Mold-Tek Technologies registered a 65.90% growth in net profits to Rs 36.83 million for the quarter ended in September 2007 from a profit of Rs 22.20 million for the quarter ended in September 2006.
Net Sales rose 12.23% to Rs 279.82 million for the quarter ended September 2007 from Rs 249.33 million for the quarter ended September 2006.
Total income rose 12.75% to Rs 281.17 million for the quarter ended September 2007 from Rs 249.38 million for the quarter ended September 2006.
The earnings per share (EPS) of the company stood at Rs 3.52 for the quarter ended September 2007

A meeting of the equity shareholders of Mold Tek Technologies will be held on Jan. 25, 2008, for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving the scheme of arrangement between Teck-men Tools, the transferor company, Mold Tek Technologies, the transferee company and the demerged company and Moldtek Plastics, the resulting company and their respective shareholders.
Future Plans
Mold-Tek Technologies has plans of setting up Rs 100 million technology campus at Hyderabad in order to enhance its knowledge processing outsourcing (KPO) services team.
Also, in order to cater to the increase in demand for its plastic products, it is planning to set up a packaging unit in Tamil Nadu with an outlay of Rs 80 million.
