Arex Industries was founded in the year 1989 by Dinesh Bilgi. The company is engaged in the business of manufacturing woven labels. It manufactures different types of label for the producer of garments and even for exporters. The garments and other textile auxiliary industry mainly influence the company`s performance.

The company provides 414 million woven labels annually to various clients. These labels can be satin or taffeta quality in white or black warp-base, up to a width of 500 mm and 12 colors. It also provides colored warp-base labels for customized assignments.

These labels feature ultrasonic cutting along normal hot-slitted edges from broad looms and soft edges from needle looms.

The company is present in Gujarat, Ahmedabad; Indore; Chennai; Banglore and Mumbai. It`s plant is located at Gujarat, with an installed capacity of 9,135 mpm.

Financials
The company announced a substantial drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 56.73% to Rs 3.28 million from Rs 7.58 million in the same quarter previous year. Net sales declined marginally 4.41% to Rs 44 million, while total income for the quarter fell marginally 4.48% to Rs 44.40 million, when compared with the prior year period. It posted earnings of Rs 0.83 a share during the quarter, registering 56.54% decline over prior year period.
